Combine multiple bank statement PDFs into one spreadsheet
A loan application, an audit, a tax return or a year-end close often needs months of transactions in a single sheet. Converting each PDF separately and pasting the results together is tedious and easy to get wrong.
With StatementLocal Pro or the 30-Day Pass you can drop many PDF statements at once. Each one is parsed and balance-checked on its own, then all rows are exported together in one CSV or Excel file, all without uploading a single statement.
Try it on your own statement. Free: 1 file per day, CSV & Excel export, nothing uploaded.
Open the free converterHow to do it
- Download the PDF statement from your online banking (Statements or Documents section). It must be a text-based PDF, not a scan.
- Open the converter and drop the PDF onto it, or click to choose the file. It is read locally in your browser.
- Review the editable preview. Rows that don't reconcile with the running balance are highlighted; click any cell to fix it.
- Export CSV or Excel (.xlsx) and save it to your device.
What columns you get
Every export, CSV or Excel, has the same columns, so your templates and import mappings keep working from month to month:
| Column | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Date | Transaction date (YYYY-MM-DD in CSV, a real date cell in Excel). The year is inferred from the statement period, including December–January rollovers. |
| Description | The transaction text, with multi-line descriptions joined into one cell. |
| Amount | One signed number: money in positive, money out negative. |
| Debit / Credit | The same amount split into money-out and money-in columns. |
| Balance | The running balance, when the statement prints one. |
| Source File | Which PDF the row came from, useful when merging several statements. |
| Check | OK when the row reconciles with the running balance, or a MISMATCH note to review. |
Tips for a clean result
- Select all the PDFs in your file picker at once (or drag the whole set onto the drop zone).
- Look at the per-file cards before exporting: each statement shows its own balance-check result, so one problem file doesn't hide among good ones.
- Use the Source File column to filter or pivot by statement.
- You can mix accounts in one batch, but keep separate exports per account if you are importing into accounting software.
Private by design
The PDF is opened by JavaScript inside your browser tab and never uploaded. No AI is involved: parsing is deterministic, so the same PDF always gives the same result. Scanned (image-only) PDFs aren't supported yet. Read more in the privacy guide or the Privacy Policy.
Pricing: the free plan converts 1 file per day. Pro ($9/month or $59/year) and the one-time 30-Day Pass ($19) unlock unlimited files and batch merging. See plans.

Convert a statement nowFAQ
Is batch conversion available on the free plan?
No. The free plan converts one file per day. Batch merging needs Pro ($9/month or $59/year) or the 30-Day Pass ($19, one-time).
Is there a limit on how many statements I can merge?
There is no fixed limit on paid plans. Very large batches depend on your device's memory, since everything runs in your browser.
Are the statements uploaded for batch processing?
No. Batch conversion runs locally in your browser just like single files.
Can I fix rows before exporting the merged file?
Yes. The preview is editable: click any cell to correct it, and the export uses your edits.
